Subject: S.O.S NEED PUPPY FORMULA, A.S.A.P.
Margret got an early morning call from her friend Lislo in Miami to get
there as soon as possible, she got a call from Miami A.C., that they had
taken Bouvier pups from a puppy mill in Miami, we think it is the same
breeder that our Zac came from! The mother died, and the father, also a
pure bred Bouvier is in foster care, but they needed someone to bottle
feed the babies. Margret got some prepared formula, plus fresh goat
milk, but said someone-- maybe Mary Kasher-- had a good home made baby
formula. Would somebody please help, and send formulas to me privately.
They are only two days old, two boys, and one girl! I get to puppy sit
to feed them on Monday, when Margret is working! HELP!!!

Subject: The Best Formula
Well today we have great news, Margret called to give me an update on
the three puppies, three days old today: Margret's friend Lori who is an
Australian Shepard breeder had a Mom who delivered 7 blue merhl (sp?)
puppies last night, and GUESS what, she has TEN puppies today! Margret
said it was the cutest thing you ever saw--the Bouvies are HUGE & BLACK
compared to the newbie Aussies! She and Lori took pictures. and they
will be available on Monday. Margret's computer is still down! So for
the next few days, the three Bouvsters have an Aussie Momma who is
taking wonderful care of them! Isn't Mother Nature GRAND!!!!!!!!!

Subject: Missy, Honorary Bouvier Mom
I just spoke to Margret, and she said the three Bouvier puppies are
doing very well, and "gaining weight like crazy!" Margret nursed them
through their first night without Mom, but said, they would never have
made it without Mother's milk! Thank goodness for Margret's friend Lori,
who is the epitome of what a good breeder should be, and for her very
generous Aussie Mom, Missy who has taken in the three Bouvs pups as her
own! Margret has been giving the babies, liquid supplements besides,
that Lori recommended, so they have a very good chance! Missy is VERY
proud of her three "especially" large puppies, who are now well over a
pound and a half each! Margret and Lori were feeling giddy from being
over- tired from caring from their babies, and had a long discussion of
what an Aussie- Bouv would look like, a big cobby bodied dog, with party
colors and blue eyes???? Whatever, they would be great herders, with
generous hearts! So our three little ones are doing well at this point,
and Missy has accommodations for all ten!

Subject: Bouvlets are One Week Old
Well, tomorrow our three little furball, bundles of joy will be a week
old! This morning Margret and I went over to see Missy and her 10
puppies. Lori has a wonderful set-up, the pups are in an x-pen in the
living room, she has a hard plastic children's pool, with lots of soft
blankets in the middle for Missy and the pups. Our three, as well as the
seven Aussie pups are all healthy and beautiful, and Missy was a
protective Mom, watching us--intruders-- pick up her three large black
puppies! It's kind of like that OLD Disney Movie, "The Ugly Dashound",
you remember the dog was actually a Great Dane, wonder if our Bouv pups
will grow up thinking they are Australian Shepherds????

Subject: Our Three Bouv Babes are Two Weeks Old
Good news-- our three Bouv babies are doing great! They opened their
eyes today, and had a full check from their vet, Dr. Eric, who cannot
believe how well they are doing and what a good Mom, Missy, the Aussie
is doing with her ten babies. Lori told Margret, Missy seems to have
taken more interest in our three Bouvie babies than her own, Aussie
pups, they are now twice the size of the Aussies. Their weights are
about 26 oz. for the boys, and the little princess weighs, 24 oz. Now,
all three pups have been promised to very good homes, two referred to us
by Marcia Proud, ABRL (thanks Marcia). All the prospective families have
recently lost their Bouviers, so these are truly little miracle pups, I
hope they give and receive MUCH happiness! Nothing better than a Bouvier
pup to mend a broken heart!!!!!
